When you begin decorating and adding everything for your baby room, you might want to think about safety issues and what kinds of things you need to keep your baby safe. When in the baby room you might have your baby running around on the floor and playing so safety is a major thing to think about.
Here are some safety things:
- Baby gate for the door.
- Door safety locks so you baby doesn’t get into cabinets.
- Having window guards on the windows.
- Make sure any small toys are put away so your baby or toddler does not swallow them.
- Make sure the rails on your crib are not far apart enough for your baby to become stuck between them.
- Use plate covers on all electric outlets
- Be sure no strings are having down from shades or curtains
These are a few of the different safety issues you might want to make sure are done in your baby room or toddler room. Also make sure to go around the room and check everything else as well that you do not want them getting into.
